  • Does OCR Plus repair Oxygen Concentrators?
    OCR Plus stands for Oxygen Concentrator Repair Plus. We repair most units however, some manufacturers do not let third party companies do repairs on their equipment. To insure that we can service your unit, please call our office and have the make and model of your machine ready.
  • Does OCR Plus sell oxygen concentrators?
    Yes! Please call our office so we can find the right machine for your needs. A prescription is required to purchase an oxygen concentrator.
  • What are our hours?
    OCR Plus is by appointment only. Our phone lines are open from 9am to 6pm PT.
  • Do we buy back units?
    OCR Plus does not buy back units.
  • Do we accept insurance?
    No. OCR Plus does not accept any insurance at this time. Call your insurance company for a referral to a company that does.
  • Does OCR Plus refill oxygen tanks/cylinders?
    No, we do not deal with tanks/cylinders. From our knowledge there isn't a company that refills them for the public. You must go through your homecare supply company.
  • Is OCR Plus a homecare supply company?
    No. OCR Plus specializes in the repair of oxygen concentrators. We are also an authorized dealer for most major manufacturers and sell a variety of stationary and portable oxygen concentrators. We do not have an emergency line or a 24/7 service. Therefore we highly recommend that you have a backup unit.
  • What is the difference between oxygen concentrators and tanks/cylinders?
    Oxygen Concentrators are machines that filter out nitrogen and trace gases in the air, collecting and concentrating oxygen. Oxygen Tanks/Cylinders have to be refilled. You must go through a homecare supply company for tank refills.
  • What is a portable oxygen concentrator?
    Portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) replace tanks/cylinders. They run off of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries for longer run times. Most POCs are smaller and lighter weight than oxygen tanks. Most POCs are FAA Approved meaning you can take them on an airplane.
  • What is the difference between continuous flow and pulse flow concentrators?
    Continuous Flow: A steady constant supply of oxygen to the user. Pulse Flow: Delivers oxygen only when the user breaths in through their nose.
